The roof and the roof leg supports can very easily be taken off, by undoing x 10mm bolts on each side of the feeding trough, shown in the photo left.

The feeding troughs with roofs work very well to keep the feed dry during rain. The roofs also prevent the feed to dry out in the sun.

Cattle feeding troughs with roofs are build in lengths of 2,4 meters and 3 meters long. The feeding troughs are 550 high and 700 wide. The roofs are 1.7 meters wide and 1 meter longer than the feed trough.

The feed troughs and roofs are strong, build with rectangular and square tube steel frames. The steel frames are painted with red oxide paint, and then with two coats of black industrial paint. The conveyor is full thickness conveyor that is 15mm to 20mm thick.

The standard height of the roofs are 1,6 meters high from the ground. On request of the farmer we can build the roof lower or higher. If we build the roof heigher, the roof will be wider and the galvanized sheet metal will also be wider. Difference in steel price will be added to the price.
