The water troughs are strong. Build from square tubing and rectangular tubing that is painted with 2 coats red oxide and 2 coats black industrial paint. The conveyor is full thickness conveyor up to 20mm thick.

The inlet float valve is protected by a steel frame as in the photo left. The steel frame can be removed, by taking out 2x 10mm bolts.

For calves we build water troughs: 2,4 meters - 3 meters - 4 meters - 6 meters long.
Height is 400mm and width is 500mm.

Cattle water drinking troughs are build in lengths of 2,4 meters up to 6 meters long.
Height is 550 high, and the width is 700.

The inlet float valve that we use is a low pressure float, and the inlet pipe has an outsid diameter of 20mm. If the farmer needs a larger valve and foat, we will build the backplate according to that inlet pipe diameter, and the cover long enough to protect the float - so that the farmer can use an inlet float valve of his / her choice.

With such an order, we will deduct R 200 from the water trough's price, and the farmer can then purchase the float of his / her choice.

Optional exstra

Some farmers prefer that the steel are welded accross on top of the water drinking troughs. That is to avoid a cow falling into the drinking trough, when pushed or bumped ba another cow. The cross steel reduces the chance of a cow falling in and drowning.
