Feeding troughs for cattle that move the feeding troughs (Optional exstra)

The conveyor that we use is full thickness ply conveyor, which is very strong and can carry the weight of cattle that climbs into the feeding trough. We do not use spliced conveyor that's cut thinner.

We drill a 7mm hole through the steel frame and then through the conveyor, through which a 7mm bolt with 20mm washer are placed.

The standard cattle feeding troughs are 700 wide, 550 high and available in lengths of
2,4 meters - 3 meters - 4 meters and 6 meters. We also build as per the farmer measurements.

The most important to us, is to build the feeding troughs as strong as possible. That is why we use 38x38 square tube and 50x25 rectangular tube, which is stronger than round tube (pipe) or angle iron. The farmer has a choice of 1,6mm thick steel or 2mm thick steel - see Price list in this website. All corners are cut 45 degrees and welded all around to each other.

The bolt is tightend on the outside with a nut. The extra piece of bolt is cut off, and then the bolt and nut are welded together, which is painted again to prevent rust.

We weld 50x50 square tube on the four corners of the feed trough - see photo left.

All that the farmer do is to hit a Y-standard through the square tube into the ground.

Calf feeding troughs and water troughs are build with 32x32 square tube and and strong conveyor.

The feed and water troughs are 400 high and 500 wide, and available in lengths of:
2,4 meters - 3 meters - 4 meters and 6 meters.

The feeding troughs with roofs are available in lengths of 2,5 meters and 3 meters.
