Bale baskets for round bales

Two people needed to put a round bale in the basket.
Turn the bale basket on it's side.
Roll the grass or lucerne bale into the bale basket.
Turn the bale basket up straight with the bale inside.
Cut the ropes and remove from the bale.

The two corners on the one side of the bale basket is 45 degrees corners. That is to make it easy to turn the bale basket up straight with the bale inside.

Bale baskets for cattle

Length x Width x Height = 1600 x 1500 x 1100
At the ends are 7x verticle square tubes, with openings of 16 cm
There are 7x half circle square tubes, with openings of 17 cm

There are farmers who prefer to have:
6x verticle square tubes at the ends, with openings of 18,5 cm
6x half circle square tubes, with openings of 19,5 cm
The price of the less steel (500 cm), will be deducted from the price.

Ideal for cattle, sheep and goats.

The bale baskets have much less feed wastage. Even the last grass or lusern can easily be eaten, because the feed goes down to the lowest point which can be reached by livestock. Some of our clients say that they have up to 80% less feed wastage with the bale baskets, compared to bale rings.

When using the traditional bale rings, the round bale is lying on the ground. With the bale baskets the feed i lying in the basket and not on the ground.

The bale baskets are build with square tube (not pipe) and are very strong.
The steel is painted with red oxide paint, and then with black industrial paint.
There are no openings where water can get into the steel frame, or where insects can make nests.

With the traditional bale rings the livestock have to put their heads into the bale ring to reach the feed.
With the bale baskets the animals do not put their heads inside the bale rings. The bale basket is designed that the feed from a full round bale up to the last feed, stayes against the sides of the bale basket. The animals only take feed with their mouth, and do not have to pull out large pieces of grass that normally falls onto the ground.
