The bale baskets have much less feed wastage. Some of our clients say that they have up to 70% less feed wastage with the bale baskets, compared to traditional bale rings.
With traditional bale rings the round bale is lying on the ground. With bale baskets the feed is inside the basket and not on the ground.
The bale baskets are built with square tube (not pipe) and are very strong.
The steel is painted with red oxide paint, and then with black industrial paint.
There are no openings where water can get into the steel frame.
With traditional bale rings the livestock have to put their heads into the bale ring to reach the feed. The bale baskets are designed that animals only take feed with their mouth, and do not have to pull out large pieces of grass that normally falls onto the ground.
