A lot of time is spend on the smaller detail when building the feeding troughs, so that the farmer get a quality strong feeding trough that works well and look good on his / her farm.
The feed troughs staal frame is build with 38x38 and 50x50 square tube. The legs are 50x50 square tube that is welde into the steel frame.
Inside the 50x50 square tube legs, are 38x38 square tube with foot-piece. To adjust the height of the feeding trough, take out the 10mm bolts and adjust to your required height.
Height adjustments:
From 400 to 500, 600 and 700 high.
From 500 to 600, 700, 800 and 900 high.

The steel holders in which the dip is poured, is 76mm wide and 38mm deep. The steel rollers are 50mm steel pipes. The steel dip rollers can be removed to clean the dip rollers.
The steel frame, dip holders and dip rollers are painted with red oxide and black industrial paint.
The trough where the feed is throw in, is full thickness conveyor. The trough is deep so that the wildlife game lean over the dip rollers when they eat.

Tick control is most important during the rain season. Tick poison such as "Deadline" is very expensive and is a oil base poison. The poison holders fill up with water when it rain. The oil base poison floats on top of the water, and run out onto the ground as the holders fill up with water.

The roofs prevent rain water filling the poison holders. The roofs also prevent the rain getting into the feed in the troughs. In the summer the sun is hot, and the roofs prevent the feed of drying out in the sun.
