It is important to regularly dip your sheep and goats against ticks. The foot dips are very popular and work well.

The foot dip is 60cm wide, 110cm high and 20cm deep. Lengths of 2 meters and 3 meters long.

The foot dip is built with 2mm thick sheet metal and a 25x25 square tube steel frame. On the sides we weld steel mesh with 3.55mm thick steel and openings of 10cm x 10cm. The steel is painted with red oxide and black industrial paint.

We weld 12mm round bars on the floor, so that the sheep or goats do not slip when walking through the foot dip.

We weld 4x strong handles on the corners, making it easy to move it.

On the two ends we weld 25x25 square tubes through which 10mm - 16mm round bars can be used to join your panels to the foot dip. For panels that we build, see below photos and the price list in this website

Control of ticks, foot rot and scald

A foot dip is of huge value to a farmer, in areas where ticks and where foot rot and scald are more common

Scald that are often caused by ticks, can largely be prevented with effective tick dip mixtures that is used in the foot dip, or foot dip spray tunnels.

If foot rot is a problem, you can fill the foot dip with 10% zink sulfate or 5% formaleen.

Optional extra

32mm ball valve with steel pipe, welded into the foot dip.

The ball valve makes it easy to regulate the dip-water level while dipping. It is also easy to let the dip water out after dipping.

Connect a 32mm pipe to the ball valve, and let the dip-water flow out to where you want it to.
