The steel frames of the feeding trough and the roof are build with square tubing and are very strong and waterproof, that are painted with 2 coats red oxide as well as 2 coats black industrial paint.
The conveyor is full thickness (12mm to 20mm thick), and is strong enough to last a lifetime.

The goats feeding troughs with roofs are very effective to save money and keep the feed dry. The opening between the feed trough and the roof 600mm, and the roofs are 1 meter longer than the feed trough, as well as 800mm wider than the feed trough. In the photos and videos (below in this page) you can see at the extremely low angle it will have to rain, for the feed to get wet.
Feed troughs with roofs available in lengths of 2 meters - 2,4 meters - 3 meters. The roof is 1 meter longer than the feeding trough.
The roofs can be taken of the feed troughs by removing 8x 10mm bolts.
