It is much better to lift salt lick blocks and other lick blocks from the ground.
Ideal for cattle, sheep goats and wildlife.
The platform on which the salt or lick blocks stand, is 3mm thick expanded metal.
The legs are 150mm (15cm) long, which means the salt lick blocks are 15cm above the ground. At the bottom of the legs are 100mm (10cm) long round tube welded to the legs, which are hammered into the ground.
We build the stands with or without an extra frame (see photos & videos below).
There are animals such as cattle, rams and larger wildlife game that might push the salt block off the stand. The extra frame is build with round bar and prevent the animals of pushing the salt or lick blocks off the stand.
