Salt lick stands

Everyone agree that it is much better to lift salt lick blocks and other lick blocks foff from the ground. The salt lick stands that we build are very popular with tyhe farmers.

Ideal for cattle, sheep goats and wildlife.

The salt lick stands are build strong so that it can be used for many years.
The platform on which the salt or lick blocks stand is 3mm thick expanded metal. It is the ideal type of steel so that the salt blocks and other lick blocks do not stand in water when it rain, as it has openings through which the water run out.

The legs are 150mm (15cm) long, which means the salt lick blocks are 15cm above the ground. At the bottom of the legs are 100mm (10cm) long round tube welded to the legs, which are hammered into the ground.

We build the stands with or without an extra frame (see photos and videos below).
Although there is a 30mm edge, are there animals such as cattle, goat rams and larger wildlife that will push the salt block off the stand. The extra frame is build with round bar and prevent the animals of puching the salt or lick blocks off the stand.
